Privacy Policy

(For Website Visitors, Marketplace Users, App Users, Drivers, and Recipients)

Effective: August 12, 2026

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This Privacy Policy explains how SwyperSpace, Inc. ("SwyperSpace," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information. It begins with the website at swyper.space and its web listing, sale, offer, trade, meetup, invite, safe exchange zone, storefront, email-link, payment, and support features, then describes the mobile application, Driver, delivery, shipping, Junk Haul, messaging, subscription, integration, moderation, and other Platform features (collectively, the "Platform").

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the SwyperSpace User Terms & Conditions and Driver Terms & Conditions. It applies to website visitors, buyers, sellers, trade participants, meetup creators and recipients, senders, shippers, Drivers, account holders, app users, support requesters, and other people whose information is provided to or processed by the Platform.

I. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Website Visitors and Email-Link Accounts

Website identifiers and account information, including email address, Firebase user identifier, username or display name, verified-email status, profile and account status, sign-in and session events, return path, remember-me preference, authentication provider, one-time email-link and recovery events, and support history.

Website technical and usage information, including IP address, browser type, operating system, device and cookie identifiers, language, referring and destination pages, timestamps, screen or feature interactions, App Check or reCAPTCHA results, rate-limit events, diagnostics, and security or fraud signals.

Website Listings, Sales, Offers, Trades, and Meetups

Web listing and storefront information, including item name, description, photo, condition, seller-facing amount, fee-inclusive buyer total, listing visibility, sale or trade mode, safe exchange zone selection, proposed handoff windows, availability, moderation result, management actions, and public or capability-link status.

Web offer, trade, and transaction information, including cash offers, seller decisions, trade-only or combined cash-and-trade media, accepted consideration, reservation status, checkout and PaymentIntent identifiers, authorization, capture, refund, dispute, payout and fee status, selected handoff window, check-in result, handoff-code events, receipt acceptance, dual confirmations, cancellation, expiration, no-show, and support records.

Web meetup and invite information, including selected safe exchange zone, proposed and selected times, invite mode, product association, invite and QR creation events, hashed token or alias records, invite status, creator and recipient identifiers or email hashes, Guest Exchange Credit grants, reservations, consumption and restoration, trade decisions, cancellation, expiration, and activity history.

Website Live Inspections

Live Inspection request and participation information, including the listed item, requester and seller identifiers and display names, participant roles, request mode, proposed and selected times, request and room status, temporary room identifiers and access events, page-session consent version and record time, join and leave events, reports, and related safety, security, diagnostic, and support records.

When You enable a Live Inspection, Your browser or device accesses the camera and microphone. A local preview may be processed on Your device before You join. After You join, audio and video are transmitted in real time to the other participant and processed by Daily, our real-time video service provider, to deliver the call. Daily may also process IP address, device, network, access, error, and call-quality metadata under its privacy and retention practices.

SwyperSpace disables Platform recording and does not intentionally create or store the audio or video from a Live Inspection. We may retain the request, page-session consent record, status, timing, participant, report, enforcement, security, and technical metadata described above as reasonably necessary to operate and protect the feature. The other participant could use tools outside the Platform to capture a call contrary to our rules, so do not show sensitive information or anything You do not want another person to see or hear.

Your Live Inspection confirmation is held only in memory for the currently loaded page; it is not remembered in cookies, local storage, or other persistent browser storage. A new tab, page load, or refresh requires confirmation again. You can deny or revoke camera or microphone permission through Your browser or device, keep either input off, leave the call, or decline to request or join a Live Inspection. Doing so may prevent the feature from working. Opening the camera or microphone permission prompt does not itself grant SwyperSpace permission; Your browser or device controls that permission.

ZIP Search, Safe Exchange Zone, and Website Check-In Information

One or two ZIP codes submitted to find, rank, or compare safe exchange zones; ZIP-center and route or straight-line calculations; search results; searched ZIP history stored in the browser when enabled; approximate distance and travel-time estimates; selected safe exchange zone and verification snapshot; and suggested safe exchange zone location, evidence, and review information. Participant ZIP codes are not copied into the public or recipient-facing meetup invite, but they may be processed in request, security, diagnostic, or fraud-prevention records.

For an eligible website direct-sale check-in, the Platform receives browser latitude, longitude, and reported accuracy to determine distance from the selected safe exchange zone. The transaction record stores the verification time, calculated distance, reported accuracy, source, and result, but not the submitted raw latitude and longitude. Network, hosting, security, or diagnostic providers may separately process request metadata under their applicable retention practices.

Website Content, Vehicle Recognition, and Suggestions

Content uploaded or generated through the website, including listing and trade photos, QR images generated in the browser, support attachments, safe exchange zone suggestion evidence, and optional meetup-recognition information such as a vehicle photo, the last three license-plate characters, a saved-vehicle record, or an indication that a participant is not arriving by vehicle. Selected recognition information may be shared only with the other confirmed meetup participant as needed for that meetup.

Browser and local-device information, including listing drafts, compressed local photo previews, saved email address, return path, remembered ZIP code, meetup or exchange drafts, locally generated QR images, publication details, claim identifiers, and similar state stored through local storage or comparable browser technology. Some local information remains only on the device until You submit, upload, publish, verify, or clear it.

Website Payments and Financial Administration

Payment and payout information, including Stripe customer, Checkout, PaymentIntent, Connect, payout-onboarding, refund, dispute, chargeback, transfer, fee, seller-net, buyer-total, authorization and capture records. Full card or bank account numbers are generally handled by Stripe or another payment provider and are not stored directly by SwyperSpace.

Mobile App Marketplace Users, Senders, Shippers, and Recipients

Identifiers and contact information, such as name, username, email address, phone number, mailing address, pickup address, drop-off address, and recipient contact details.

Account and profile information, including login credentials, profile photos, preferences, referral information, support history, ratings, reviews, reports, appeals, and account status.

Mobile-app listing, purchase, bid, offer, cart, Treasure Chest, transaction add-on, station, SwyperSpace, route, carrier shipping, Junk Haul, and transaction information, including item descriptions and media, prices, bids, accepted offers, payment status, order history, import source, pickup and delivery instructions, share-link events, PIN handoff events, return events, refund or credit details, and dispute records.

Global Chat posts, direct messages, transaction messages, comments, replies, edits, reactions, delivery cards, reports, moderation records, appeals, support tickets, Discord-related support or connection context, and other communications with SwyperSpace or other users through the Platform.

Payment, subscription, and financial-administration information, such as payment method tokens, transaction and subscription identifiers, app-store purchase records, billing tier and entitlement status, chargeback records, Orbits activity, Security Deposit authorization, capture, refund and forfeiture records, credits, and payout or protected-party compensation records. Full card or bank numbers are generally handled by payment processors such as Stripe or an app-store provider rather than stored directly by SwyperSpace.

Drivers

Driver account, identity, eligibility, and verification information, including legal name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, government identification, driver license information, vehicle information, insurance information, tax information, and payout onboarding status.

Background-check, identity-verification, liveness-check, selfie, document-scan, or biometric-related information where requested, enabled, or processed by SwyperSpace or a verification provider to confirm identity, reduce fraud, comply with law, or protect users.

Precise and approximate location information, including GPS coordinates, route progress, pickup arrival, in-transit movement, delivery arrival, return movement, timestamp data, and heartbeat or tracking events while You use driver, map, route, station, or delivery features, and where permitted by Your device settings and Applicable Law.

Delivery performance and safety information, including offers, acceptances, cancellations, no-shows, route timing, photos, PIN verification, chain-of-custody records, return-overdue events, protected-party compensation records, complaints, ratings, capability restrictions, deactivation decisions, appeals, and support outcomes.

Device, Browser, App, Website, and Usage Information

Device identifiers, IP address, mobile advertising identifiers, browser type, operating system, app version, crash logs, diagnostics, screen interactions, feature usage, referral links, cookie identifiers, and similar technical data.

Approximate location inferred from IP address and precise location when You grant location permissions or use features that require location, such as map, route, station, delivery, or driver features.

Content You upload, generate, send, import, or store through the Platform, including listing, trade, vehicle, and Junk Haul photos or videos; delivery and handoff photos; profile information; Global Chat posts; direct and transaction messages; meetup and invite content; reviews; reports; legal-acceptance signatures and review events; Shopify-imported catalog content; safe exchange zone suggestion evidence; and support attachments.

Security, Integrity, and Inferred Information

Authentication and security information, including sign-in and session events, email or phone verification status, multi-factor authentication status for protected roles or actions, device or app-integrity and attestation results where enabled, IP address, network and request metadata, rate-limit counters, authorization and access-control decisions, payment and signed-webhook metadata, audit events, incident records, and signals associated with suspicious, abusive, duplicate, automated, or unauthorized activity.

Derived or inferred information, including marketplace relevance and ranking signals, route suitability, distance, schedule, vehicle and cargo-capacity fit, Driver reliability and progress summaries, account capability and eligibility status, subscription or referral eligibility, moderation classifications and reasons, duplicate-account indicators, and fraud, abuse, transaction-consistency, location-consistency, or security-risk indicators.

Integration information, including a connected Shopify store domain, catalog and product data selected for import, import session and connection records, Discord account or membership identifiers and verification status, third-party authorization or OAuth tokens where needed to maintain a connection, and connection, refresh, revocation, or disconnection events.

Sensitive Personal Information

Depending on how You use the Platform, we may process sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, account credentials, payment-related tokens, precise geolocation, identity-verification images, driver license details, insurance details, background-check information, contents of user communications where needed for safety or support, and biometric-related verification data where requested or enabled. We use sensitive personal information only for permitted Platform, safety, security, verification, legal, payment, fraud-prevention, and support purposes, or as otherwise permitted by Applicable Law.

II. SOURCES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect personal information from You directly through the website or app; from other users who create offers, trades, invites, recipient, pickup, drop-off, route, station, shipment, dispute, report, or communication records involving You; automatically from Your browser, device, app, network, and Platform interactions; from payment, payout, subscription, app-store, and identity providers such as Stripe, Apple, Google, or their service providers; from maps, ZIP, routing, geocoding, carrier, label, Shopify, Discord, email-delivery, hosting, analytics, moderation, App Check, reCAPTCHA, security, support, insurance, background-check, and fraud-prevention providers; from public or government sources; and from business partners or affiliates where permitted by law.

To exercise or defend legal rights, comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the safety, rights, privacy, property, and security of SwyperSpace, users, recipients, drivers, partners, and the public, and support insurance, law-enforcement, regulatory, or court processes where appropriate.

Automated and Human-Assisted Processing

We use automated rules, models, scoring, and human review to operate and protect the Platform. These processes may evaluate marketplace relevance, content or media for prohibited or abusive material, transaction and payment consistency, route suitability, Driver progress and reliability, account eligibility and capabilities, duplicate-account or referral abuse, app or device integrity, and fraud or security risk. Content or media may be sent to an authorized moderation provider, including OpenAI or another provider, for classification or review.

These processes may affect the order or visibility of content and opportunities; whether an action requires extra verification or review; whether a transaction is delayed, denied, reversed, or escalated; or whether account capabilities are temporarily or permanently restricted. Where required by Applicable Law, You may request information about, opt out of, or appeal certain decisions by contacting us as described below. Material enforcement decisions may also involve human review.

IV. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Website Exchanges and Web Transactions

To facilitate website sales, trades, and meetups, we may disclose limited information among the applicable seller, buyer, offeror, trade participant, creator, recipient, and support personnel. This may include display name, item and trade media, accepted consideration, selected safe exchange zone and meeting area, proposed or selected times, transaction status, confirmation status, and optional vehicle-recognition information. Private contact, payment, and access information is limited to what the feature and participant role require.

App, Delivery, and Other Platform Sharing

To complete transactions, we may share information among buyers, sellers, senders, shippers, drivers, recipients, pickup contacts, drop-off contacts, and support personnel. For example, a Driver may receive pickup and drop-off addresses, contact details, item details, PIN requirements, and route instructions; a Buyer, Seller, Sender, Shipper, or Recipient may receive Driver name, profile photo, phone number, vehicle or route status, tracking information, delivery photos, or completion information where needed to complete or verify the transaction.

Service Providers and Platform Partners

We may share personal information with service providers and partners that help us operate the Platform, including Google or Firebase for authentication, hosting, database, analytics, performance, crash-reporting, and app-integrity services; Stripe for payments, payouts, Connect, Identity, subscriptions, refunds, and deposit administration; Apple, Google, or app stores for sign-in, purchases, subscriptions, notifications, and app distribution; OpenAI or other moderation providers for content and media review; Shopify and Discord for integrations You choose to connect; and providers of customer support, email, SMS, push notifications, tax, shipping, carrier, labels, maps, geolocation, background checks, fraud prevention, security, insurance, accounting, legal, and professional services. These providers may process information on our behalf or, where disclosed by their own terms, as independent controllers or businesses.

Legal, Safety, Insurance, and Business Transfers

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with law, enforce our agreements, respond to subpoenas or legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or security incidents, support insurance claims, address payment disputes, cooperate with law enforcement or regulators, or protect SwyperSpace, users, recipients, drivers, partners, or the public. We may also disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, sale of assets, due diligence process, or similar business transaction.

V. WEBSITE, LOCATION, DRIVER VERIFICATION, AND SAFETY DATA

Website ZIP Search and Check-In

Website safe-exchange-zone search may process one or two ZIP codes and calculate approximate or routed distances from ZIP centers. Website direct-sale check-in may transiently process precise browser coordinates to determine whether a participant is near the selected safe exchange zone. As described above, the transaction record retains the check-in verification result and derived measurements rather than the submitted raw coordinates. Disabling browser location prevents check-in where the transaction requires it.

A verified safe exchange zone is intentionally public, but participant ZIP searches, private invite credentials, and nonpublic transaction details are not made public through the invite. Public location information, approximate distances, and a selected safe exchange zone may nevertheless reveal general location or travel patterns and do not make a user anonymous.

Mobile App and Driver Location

Driver, route, station, safe-exchange-zone, listing, and nearby-marketplace features rely on accurate location, identity, verification, pickup, delivery, and return data. If You use Driver or route features, You may be required to keep location services enabled while viewing, offering on, accepting, performing, completing, or returning a Route. Disabling location, PIN, photo, or verification features may prevent route access, delay support, restrict capabilities, or affect payment. We use this data to coordinate routes, provide tracking, verify pickup and delivery, protect users, resolve disputes, investigate fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal or insurance obligations.

Protected and Public Location Views

Exact private pickup, drop-off, listing, and route coordinates may be maintained in restricted records, while public or browsing views use server-maintained approximate projections or generalized areas. Exact private locations are disclosed only to authenticated, authorized participants when needed for an accepted, funded, or otherwise active transaction. Recipients may receive limited tracking or route-progress information. A User may choose to publish an exact public station, and a verified safe exchange zone may be displayed publicly.

Public approximation reduces casual exposure but does not make a location anonymous or eliminate re-identification risk. Do not publish a home address as a public station, post an exact private address in public content, or use another person's location or contact information outside the active transaction.

VI. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING

We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, session storage, device identifiers, App Check or reCAPTCHA technologies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate and secure the Platform; preserve email, ZIP, listing, meetup, transaction, and return-path state; remember preferences; measure performance; understand usage; improve features; detect fraud; and, where permitted, provide or measure advertising and referral campaigns. You can manage some technologies through browser or device settings, but clearing or blocking required storage may remove drafts, sign-in state, invite recovery information, or other local functionality.

VII. SALE, SHARING, AND TARGETED ADVERTISING

SwyperSpace does not sell personal information for money. Some analytics, advertising, referral, or measurement activities may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws because they involve disclosure of identifiers, device information, or online activity to advertising or analytics partners. Where required by law, You may opt out of such sale, sharing, or targeted advertising by contacting us or using available privacy controls we provide. Where required, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out for the browser or device that sends the signal. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of children under sixteen (16).

VIII. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes, including providing the Platform, maintaining accounts, completing transactions, administering payments, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, complying with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, insurance, safety, and recordkeeping obligations, and protecting rights and security. The retention period for a category depends on the amount, nature, sensitivity, and purpose of the information; the risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure; whether the purpose can be achieved by other means; provider and backup lifecycles; and Applicable Law.

Retention Criteria by Category

- Website ZIP searches, local drafts, email-link state, return paths, and remembered preferences may remain in browser storage until submitted, replaced, cleared by the Platform, or deleted through browser controls. Server-side authentication, rate-limit, and security records may be retained as reasonably necessary for account protection, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

- Website listing, offer, trade, invite, Guest Exchange Credit, check-in, confirmation, payment, payout, vehicle-recognition, suggestion, and support records may be retained while active and afterward for transaction completion, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, safety, tax, accounting, chargeback, enforcement, and legal obligations. Raw coordinates submitted for website direct-sale check-in are not written to the transaction record; the derived verification records may be retained with the transaction.

- Account, profile, preference, subscription, and integration records are generally kept while the account or connection remains active and during a reasonable closure, deletion, reconciliation, or support period, subject to unresolved transactions and legal exceptions.

- Transaction, payment, payout, Security Deposit, tax, carrier, delivery, route-milestone, dispute, and compensation records may be kept after completion or account closure for applicable legal, tax, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, insurance, safety, enforcement, and recordkeeping periods.

- Precise active-route and private-location records are used for coordination, tracking, support, safety, fraud prevention, and disputes and are retained only as reasonably necessary for those purposes and legal obligations. Public station or safe exchange zones remain available until removed, disabled, or no longer needed.

- User content, communications, imported catalog data, and related moderation or report records may remain while the content, account, transaction, or integration is active and afterward where needed for deletion processing, safety, appeals, disputes, legal holds, or enforcement.

- Authentication, app-integrity, rate-limit, audit, incident, and fraud or abuse records may be retained as reasonably necessary to detect repeated misconduct, investigate or contain incidents, protect accounts and the Platform, document access and decisions, and comply with law.

- Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from backups, provider systems, legal holds, or queued media-deletion processes. Such copies are deleted, overwritten, de-identified, or isolated in accordance with applicable backup and provider lifecycles unless retention is required or permitted by law.

Where biometric-related verification information is processed by a verification provider, retention may be governed by that provider's policies and applicable law. SwyperSpace will not retain biometric-related verification information longer than reasonably necessary for disclosed verification, fraud-prevention, safety, legal, or compliance purposes, unless otherwise permitted or required by law.

IX. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending on Your jurisdiction and subject to legal limits and verification, You may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, delete personal information, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, profiling, or qualifying automated-decision activities, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, request information about or appeal certain decisions, and be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

To make a privacy request, contact us at privacy@swyperspace.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to verify Your identity and account before fulfilling a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct verification from You. Some requests may be denied in whole or in part where an exception applies, including where retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, transaction completion, legal compliance, tax, accounting, dispute, insurance, or user-safety purposes.

Web and Browser Choices

You can clear saved drafts, remembered ZIP codes, email or return-path state, cookies, and other local data through available Platform controls or browser settings. Clearing browser storage may prevent recovery of an unpublished listing, invite, sign-in flow, or transaction access state. You may delete saved meetup vehicles through the website where that control is available.

Location Choices

You can manage location permissions through Your device settings. If You disable location permissions, certain marketplace, station, map, route, delivery, tracking, or driver features may be unavailable. Drivers may be required to keep location enabled during active route activity.

Marketing Choices

You may opt out of promotional emails by following the instructions in those emails. You may opt out of certain SMS messages by replying STOP where supported. Transactional, legal, security, support, and account-related communications may still be sent where permitted by law.

X. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Platform is not directed to children under thirteen (13), and users must be at least eighteen (18) or the age required by their jurisdiction to use marketplace or driver features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If You believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

XI. SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Depending on the system and risk, these safeguards may include server-side authentication and role checks, restricted database and storage rules, least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication for protected administrative actions, device or app-integrity checks where enabled, rate limiting, signed-webhook verification, idempotent transaction controls, audit logging, separation of private exact-location records from public approximate projections, monitoring, dependency and vulnerability management, and incident-response procedures.

No method of transmission, storage, authentication, moderation, or fraud prevention is completely secure or error-free, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your credentials and one-time codes, securing Your device, reviewing account notices, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. If we identify a suspected security incident, we may investigate, preserve relevant records, restrict affected access, remediate vulnerabilities, and notify affected people, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where required or appropriate under Applicable Law.

XII. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may link to or integrate third-party services, including Stripe; Firebase and other Google services; Vercel or other website hosting providers; email-delivery providers; App Check and reCAPTCHA; Apple and app stores; OpenAI or other content-moderation providers; identity-verification and background-check providers; map, geocoding, ZIP, and routing providers; analytics providers; Shopify; Discord; shipping carriers; carrier-label providers; and other services. These providers may receive identifiers, device or network data, content, location inputs, transaction details, or connection credentials needed for their functions. If You connect an account or authorize an import, we may process and retain connection identifiers, authorization or OAuth tokens, selected catalog or membership data, and related session and revocation records. You may disconnect supported integrations through available controls, but the third party may retain information under its own policies. Third-party privacy practices are governed by their own policies and terms, and SwyperSpace is not responsible for their independent processing except where required by Applicable Law.

XIII. INTERNATIONAL AND STATE-SPECIFIC RIGHTS

SwyperSpace is based in the United States, and personal information may be processed in the United States and other locations where we or our providers operate. Some states and countries provide additional privacy rights. We will honor applicable rights to the extent required by law and may provide supplemental notices when required for specific jurisdictions or features.

XIV. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the Platform or otherwise made available, and the effective date will be updated. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Platform, by email, or by another method permitted by law. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date means the updated Privacy Policy applies to Your use of the Platform.
