Refunds & Returns
Contact SupportInspect before you exchange
Item-for-item trades do not include a card payment to refund. Each person should inspect the offered item before completing the handoff.
After both people confirm a completed trade, the exchange is generally final. The participants may agree between themselves to undo or change it, but SwyperSpace does not guarantee, replace, or return traded items.
Check how the listing is paid
Some listings use SwyperSpace checkout; others use cash at a meetup or another lawful method the buyer and seller agree to. SwyperSpace cannot refund money paid outside its checkout.
A SwyperSpace checkout starts as an uncaptured card authorization. For tracked shipping, it is captured only after the carrier's first possession scan. If no scan is confirmed before the seller's 48-hour deadline, the authorization is canceled automatically; a bank may take several business days to remove the pending hold.
After capture, returns, carrier claims, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks depend on the transaction facts, applicable law, and payment-network or carrier rules. Contact Support promptly and keep the tracking number, packaging photos, and carrier receipt.
Reserved first, used when accepted
Sending an eligible trade offer reserves the number of Exchange Credits shown before you submit it, currently one credit. The credit is restored if the offer is declined, canceled, or expires before acceptance.
Once the other person accepts the offer, the reserved credit is used. It is not paid to the other person, and reversing a completed trade does not automatically restore it.
Credit pack purchases are generally final
Purchased Exchange Credits are delivered to your wallet and do not expire. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the purchase is final after delivery. Contact Support about a website purchase; Apple or Google handles requests for purchases made in its app store.
If a purchase is refunded, reversed, disputed, or revoked, its credits are removed. If they were already used, your wallet may carry a deficit and pause new trade offers until the balance is restored.
Tell us when something went wrong
Contact Support about suspected fraud, an unauthorized or duplicate Exchange Credit purchase, a documented SwyperSpace error, or a protection shown in your transaction. Applicable law may require a different result from the general policies above.
